1. Our southern forces all launch an attack upon Portugal at the same time, overwhelming their defenses and pushing them back to the gates of Lisbon. Utilizing tanks and assault infantry, we blast our way through urban defenses. 2. We begin a massive bombardment of Lisbon from the coast, utilizing large naval cannons before sending thousands of troops into the city, completely capitulating the southern front. 3. Upon hearing the news of the fall of Lisbon, the northern pocket will panic, allowing a massive offensive of close to our entire force (the rest occupies land to prevent immediate rebellion) to push the remaining Portuguese back. 5. Artillery is lined across our defensive lines, absolutely destroying all Portuguese soldiers attempting to escape our 3rd Offensive Group. Sandwiched between two overwhelming forces, the Portuguese have no choice but to surrender.
Post-Conquest: 6. We immediately enforce stability, sending 80,000 troops to crush the most rebellious rebels. However, once that is complete, we begin reconstructing, winning the minds of the less rebellious individuals. We repair infrastructure, especially in extremely urban zones. We fund the construction of apartments and soup kitchens, providing temporary food and housing for the homeless. All Portuguese citizens are granted Spanish citizenship, whilst they can apply for rations in Spanish ration houses. We also bring the same prosperity of Spain to Portugal, funding small businesses and allowing them to grow and compete, strengthening our market. We aim to make life better than it was under Portuguese rule, preventing uprisings through peace rather than purge.
