Warplan for a future blockade of Gibraltar, reinforced since 1968 and ready for possible combat or economic warfare. If you are reading this, I'm at war. look | | \/
The bunker defense line defends the rear from attack in worst case scenarios such as a naval invasion from another part of Spain (or maybe all of Spain fell. Wouldn't that be real funny). Heavily fortified, it can confidently repel any substantially sized attack force. It even has a fallback point in case the first line of defense is breached. The Artillery is positioned along the coast, ready to bombard any enemy ship that passes by. Covering a good portion of the Strait, passage is almost impossible. Against aerial attack, anti-air artillery is stationed, turning the skies into a graveyard. Finally, sea mines are placed near the entrance to the Medditeranean Sea, blasting apart ships that somehow made it (or worst case scenario a nation somehow managed to either bypass our defenses or blows up our artillery, this would buy us some time before enemy forces could get into the Medditeranean Sea).
