Appel goose --------------------- Serpanser malus --------------------- Appel geese are snavians which live in forests, burrowing into the ground as chicks, where they will spend the rest of their juvenile stage up until maturity. During their juvenile stage, they will consume string-worms(press Space/click). Upon maturity, appel geese will climb up trees and burrow into appels, where they will hide and eat until the appel is almost completely hollow and falls to the forest floor, where they will climb back up the tree and repeat. Rather than climbing trees, appeal geese can also just burrow into already-fallen appels. Once in an appel, they will hold their breaks out of the stem-hole from which they burrowed into to breath and rest until they are hungry again. Appel geese are super territorial and solitary, never interacting much with other appel geese unless it is for mating or fighting over appels. Rather than using their acidic saliva for burrowing, they mainly use it for defense. Upon death, they will drop Appel goose, which contributes to protein intake. Although, because of the appel goose's size, it isn't an efficient food source. They appear to have eyes, but those aren't truly. They are sensitive areas of skin which sense light, but they can't truly see. Their most recognizable trait, however, is their "trunk", which is just an extended, flexible mouth that helps them search for nutrients. Stringe-worms possess tiny hairs along their body that helps them sense movement in the soil. String-worms get their names from their ability to produce silky strings, which they use to make a cocoon during colder seasons. String-worms are the prey to a variety of creatures, including the chicks of Appel geese.
