The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia sees the invasion as a violation of the new NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) Article 2.1, and invokes Article 3.2, condemning the invasion of Kentucky by the CSA (Communist States of America/Ohio). The Articles may not apply to these foreign nations, yet Yugoslavia shall uphold them being a founder of NAM. Yugoslavia will place an arms embargo on the CSA, and freezing any assets in Yugoslavia (if they oddly stored stuff in Yugoslavia despite us being across the sea). We urge for peaceful methods to be sought out later, before any violence breaks out. We also urge that this conflict ends via peaceful means. Florida and CSA have shown themself to be Social-Imperialists: socialist in words, but imperialist in deeds. Vladimir Lenin himself fiercely condemned this. Peaceful Coexistence should be championed by socialist states, not violence. The idea is that socialism shouldn't be forced on nations at the tip of a bayonet; instead, socialist states should lead by example, build a strong internal society, and respect national sovereignty. The continent of North America is nothing but filled with Fascist states under the guise of “socialism.” Yet they resort to violent conflicts to bring the people they’re supposed to liberate under their will. We hope peaceful methods will be taken and prove this view wrong. For one, the NCR may be capitalist scum yet are better off than these so-called “socialists.” Through the lens of realpolitik, California offered a diplomatic path first and an ultimatum without gunfire being exchanged immediately. We are not attempting to act morally superior, but rather staying true to the Yugoslav ideals. If one disagrees with these ideals, then agree to disagree.
(OoC/Out of Character [Hence cannot be used against anyone in the actual RP as this is just an explanation]) We’re more lenient on CSA as this isn't a second invasion of another country like Florida invading Alabama. Also I swear I’m about to have a big falling out with every single socialist in North America and likely with Internationale too.
