Upon the disastrous landing of the infected G.S.S carrier that has caused a massive crisis on the planet of Tathir the Bastion government has enacted an age-old plan they hoped they would never have to use- Operation Firestorm. The idea is simple- burn the infected planet to ash. Several large ships have surrounded the planet and basically bombed it to a crisp, along with a smaller one full of hazmat crews sent to retrieve the G.S.S weaponry. The extraction will be cautious and strategic and extensive decontamination efforts will be taken when the crews arrive on an isolated station that can be self-destructed at a moments notice if the infection spills out. The compromised machinery will then essentially be run through microwave chambers and laced with antifungal toxins to kill off the fungus as thoroughly as possible, finally the weaponry will then be studied and replicated with help from the G.S.S who has already been notified of the situation...
