Ferelk --------------------- Alecsferox liquefactus --------------------- Ferelks are, normally, skrawny ungulates which live in mountainous regions, feasting on vegetation and metals. Ferelks are able to consume metals through their ability to superheat their bodies due to their fiery temper. Ferelks, despite being skrawny for their size, like to pick fights with anything that ticks them off but will quickly run away when they realize they are outmatched. After enough time, a normal Ferelk will develop into an Armored Ferelk, due to the build-up of the metals they have consumed forming an armor-like exoskeleton. This armored Exoskeleton, however, makes their movements slow and stiff. When in their armored form, they are much more willing to fight anything that ticks them off. If you happen to anger one, you will be forced to either flee or fight it. Let's hope you can flee. If you have to fight an Armored Ferelk, these are the attacks you can expect from it: Ram - Charges for 3 seconds, then runs at you for 5 seconds before skidding to a halt and panting Fire Snot - Fire will start spewing from its nostrils for 8 seconds before shooting out clumps of heated metal for 5 seconds Swing - Will swing its hooves at you Shockwave - Will raise its forelimbs and slam them on the ground Rarely, if you happen to get an Armored Ferelk to a low enough health, the Ferelk will get so mad that its armor starts melting, turning it into a Molten Ferelk. If you thought Armored Ferelks were bad, think twice. Molten Ferelks will continue their normal attacks, but differently, and with additional attacks: Ram - Charges for 2 seconds, then runs at you for 7 seconds before skidding to a halt and shaking clumps of molten metal off its body Fire Snot - Fire will start spewing from its nostrils for 4 seconds before shooting out clumps of heated metal for 10 seconds Swing - Will swing its arm at you, sending clumps of molten metal flying Shockwave - Will raise its forelimbs and slam them on the ground, but its arms will get stuck for 5 seconds Rampage - Its legs will get stuck on the ground, and it will get so mad that it breaks free and charges for 15 seconds before tripping and falling over for 6 seconds Shake - Will start shaking its body, sending giant clumps of molten metal flying for 10 seconds Upon death, a normal Ferelk will drop roasted Ferelk meat, which gives you a quick meal. An armored Ferelk, upon death, will drop roasted Ferelk meat, armor pieces, and scrap metal. Armor pieces can be used to craft heavy armor, and scrap metal can be used for building or for crafting. A molten Ferelk, upon death, will drop roasted Ferelk meat, metal clumps, scrap metal, damaged antlers, and a molten pendant. Metal clumps can be used for crafting heavy weapons, damaged antlers can be polished to make a Ferelk Antler Trophy, and a molten pendant can be used to increase smelting efficiency.
