Unlike many of the affected victims of the brutal Gem attacks, the Gems only attacked the outer core of Novelbastida, only taking useless outposts in the galaxy. That leaves much of the Novelbastidan population alive. The quick mobilisation of the army has temporarily stopped the Gem advance. Meanwhile in the core territories, Novelbastida’s factories have begun building a new weapon for the army… Battle Droids! These battle droids are both cheap and very quick to manufacture. Although they aren’t the best of troops, they can minimise casualties since they can be easily replaced by freshly built droids. The droids’ main purpose is to push back the overwhelming Gem forces by using their own tactics against them and also using more powerful equipment against them. ==The Eastern Offensive== In the east, millions of battle droids storm the occupied star systems of Nova Columba and New Austin to aid the very overwhelmed Kingdom of Americana. These droids launch wave attacks against the Gem positions, using plasma rifles and rocket propelled muskets to neutralise the Gems. In the air, thousands of droid fighters fly into the battlefield to destroy Gem scouts and surround Gem destroyers and eliminate them. Novelbastidan battleships and destroyers aid the droid fighters in destroying the Gem fleet. Since the Gem fleet was already weakened by Xenthian forces, they were easily pushed back with many of their forces killed or captured. ==The Southern Offensive== The main objective of this offensive is to aid the Dominion against the Gems since they are one of the most powerful nations that are currently helping us out by making distracting the Gems by placing a lot of their forces in fighting them. Thousands of Drone Fighters arrive and relieve the surrounded enclave of Dominion forces in their Northern frontier, Heavy Bomber Fighters begin destroying Gem Destroyers and Gem Bases. Around 6 Droid divisions arrive on each captured planet, armed with plasma rifles and flamethrower tanks, they destroy many of the Gem entrenched positions. For the Dominion, they give dearly needed supplies and food, so that they can continue mowing down the hundreds of Gem divisions. ==The Western Offensive== 30 Droid and Organic Divisions are sent to this front, since this area is near the capital of the Empire, if they capture, it could lead to a major morale loss, so most of the star force begin an offensive into this area, they encircle a few divisions in on of the local systems, starving their forces and showing the Ged they are a strong and capable force to be dealt with. Many Destroyers of the Gems were destroyed in this encirclement, making the Gems have a great increase in casualties and a decrease in morale.
