In the past, they were too long. - - - - Keyboard Controls: - [left] [right] or [a] [d] to move - [down] or [s] to sleep if it's sunset or night - [space] or click in a battle to attack Mobile Controls: - Press the white arrows at the bottom to move - Tap on the character to sleep if it's sunset or night. - Tap on the character to go into a hunting crouch once you learn to hunt. - Tap anywhere in a battle to attack Click/Tap: - Moss to gather it - Herbs to gather it - Cats to talk - Den entrances/exits to enter/exit - - - - Hunting: Once you learn to hunt from Darkfire, press [x] if you use a keyboard or tap the character if on mobile to crouch. You can only hunt if you're in the hunting area and if you're crouching. Once prey appears, click it to catch it. If you're touching the prey and click it, it'll get scared and run away. Battling: In a battle, you'll always get the first turn. Press space or click/tap to attack when it's your turn. After that, your opponent attack you. This'll go on until either you or your opponent reaches zero health. Border Patrolling: Talk to Softlight or Flowingbreeze. They'll ask if you want to join the patrol. During border patrol, click on the trespassers to scare them away. Trespassers are typically more abundant on the DewClan border (where Flowingbreeze is) than on the NettleClan border (where Softlight is). Gifting/Getting a Mate: To gift, click cats while holding prey. The only mate option is Dogpaw/feather. Give gifts to him until he starts flirting--like telling you that you look nice, talking about starting a family, etc. A good way to immediately know if he's flirting is if he starts stammering a bit. Once he starts flirting with you, keep talking to him until he asks you to become his mate. Say yes to become his mate. - - - - QnA: - Q: Can I become a medicine cat? A: No, I want this game to follow a particular storyline. Maybe in the future I'll make another game where you become a med cat. - Q: Can I request a warrior suffix? A: Yes. Once Darkfire says you'll become a warrior tomorrow (in-game), talk to Fawnstar. He'll give you the option to request a suffix. - Q: What do I do after I become a warrior? A: Hunt, battle train, patrol the borders. If you keep doing these things you'll eventually get the option to become deputy. - Q: What do I do after I become deputy? A: Do the normal stuff. Eventually rogues will attack, and you'll get the option to become leader. - Q: Can I get kits? A: No. - Q: How do I hunt/battle/border patrol/get a mate?
