Accidently made one of the fastest and most concise sorts on Scratch :) - The sort is just 53 blocks long, and uses only 2 extra lists! - O(n) time complexity worst and best case! The catch: Limits how many items you can sort, maximum precision, and requires positive integers. There is a non-zero chance of a bucket overflow, but (if randomly distributed!) the universe will die from heat death before that happens ;) UPDATE: added new 2 digit unrolled version Designed for 3D engine depth sorting ----------------------------------------------------- Credits: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/420013342/ @-rex- for his hybrid quicksort, which i̶s̶ was the fastest sort on Scratch. This is almost 3x as fast and 5x less blocks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Can easily be done with 1 or even 0 extra lists but I leave that as an exercise for the reader. # Tutorials
