The A1/A3s were the first locomotive to be built for GR in 2013. The A1s and A3s of the railway were all used for express passenger service on the GR. This locomotive, No. 1127, also known as Sandwich, or The Blue Ship, had its firebox changed to a belpaire firebox rather than the standard A1/A3 firebox.
