The Boltgout is a Strike-class dragon. This dragon isn't too great at flying, but it is an extremely fast runner, with speeds reaching up to 110 mph. They are very lean and are built for speed, endurance, and stamina, with an average individual being able to keep running for 4 hours. They can also make sharp turns easily with their long tail. Interestingly, Boltgouts are not afraid of eels, and is actually their preferred prey. Boltgouts do not technically have a breath weapon, rather a modified one where energy they absorb runs through their body, gathers up to their mouth, and releases it all in a powerful, shocking bite. (they have a shot limit of 7) They also use their sharp claws to attack opponents. These dragons are territorial and intelligent, and are generally fearless towards creatures a similar size, and are also very opportunistic Boltgouts have a sort of "lateral line" organ. Using this organ, they can even tell where a certain object is, even if it is out of their sight, which is useful when they are running fast as it can help them not ram into said object and suffer injuries. Their fins on their back are used to sense vibrations in the air. Due to this, rapid movement around them is what scares them the most, as they may think its a larger dragon. They may be fearless, but they know not to pick on something far larger than them. This species is also distracted easily by bright colors. also they aren't very durable They are also solitary.
