Angry Birds Battles Revamped v1.6.1

Instructions

NOTICE ADDED 9/28/23 I'm cancelling all the costume changes to the project and renaming it to Angry Birds Battles Modded, because that's what it is now. When I started the project in May, I got all the changes I wanted to the game done in a few days but I wasn't ready for the huge task of respriting everything. So I'm cancelling work on this project since I'm satisfied with all the coding changes I've made. SECOND NOTICE 3/17/25 The original concept and theme for this mod was pretty dumb and generic (medieval castle battle) so I reverted the changes back to Angry Birds. Also replaced all the original textures with higher quality ones because the original graphics are so pixelated they would look bad on an NES. (no offense to noolabguy, the graphics are more of Scratch's fault than their fault) I'm a huge fan of the original game by @noolabguy but there were many things I thought could be better so I improved this game, updating the graphics and adding many quality of life improvments. I hope you enjoy! Changelog: 5/18/23 v1.1 (the original game is considered 1.0) Item graphics are now higher quality Added tips that change and fade on the menu screen Removed clutter like the coming soon episodes Added PVZ music Some pigs move slower while others move faster Buffed a few birds Buffed the pigs Nerfed a few birds Replaced slingshot with cannon Added display for bird health and pig health Pigs no longer spin (duh) Pigs get stronger with time Added my own intro Better item description You now have six item slots instead of three Added bird description Fixed a bug where the donut would sap bird health if used when bird health was above 10 In game money and shop gems are now two different currencies, and are rewarded separately Pig projectiles now deal damage depending on the projectile You now get more money with each round You can only buy one chest, pumpkin, and cannon 9/28/23 v1.2: Removed the code to get free money (what was the point of that?) Attempted to retheme the game and replaced some graphics, but quit halfway 3/17/25 v1.3 Reverted the theme change, it's now Angry Birds again Fixed a bug where if you used an offensive item with a reusable bird and the pig died from the item the bird would fly to the pig but stay in place softlocking the game (the end result of this is that the bird attacks the ground and deals damage to the pig in the afterlife lol) You do not need to "Skip Item" if you only have a chest The cutscene is skipped if you are replaying the game The cannon deals more damage to the bird being fired (I can't imagine flying that fast would be very healthy) 3/19/25 v1.4 The end round bonus has been increased Fixed the price of a few birds The diversity bonus has been increased Fixed the cannon not doing optimal damage Added more rounds (but I'm not telling you how to play them) 3/21/25 v.1.5 Polished up the bird graphics, as well as the buttons and cannon Snazzy new title screen Added night and fog. Night removes the ability to see pig HP and fog removes the ability to see all variables Added new night background The cannon now multiplies damage instead of adding it Added 3 new music tracks 3/23/25 v1.6 Added 6 new achievements Added credits Polished more graphics 6/20/26 v1.6.1 Fixed a bug where the night background would not go away after Round 2 Fog now no longer hides your money (that was unfair) To do: Polish pig graphics Add better animations Add stumbling Can you please check this out it took me hours to make Also I am very bad at naming things. If you have a better name for this game please tell me.
