THIS IS JUST A THEORY! NOTHING IS PROVED. I was flipping through a book called 'The book of mythical beasts & magical creatures' (written by Stephan Krensky.) And then I came across 'Banshee' I was immediately interested-when I read the following and I knew this is where Shannon brought the animal from: 'Female spirit of Irish legend, whose wailing warns the forthcoming death.' Don't banshees in the book kind of do that? They wail if the person's really injured but sit down next to them if they are close to death. We can say they are not very similar but there is a big connection there. I think this makes sense-I would appreciate comments on this theory-in support or against.
-Stephan Krensky's book: The book of mythical beasts & magical creatures. Its good try it. -Shannon Messenger's book Keeper of the Lost Cities -Me
