All my fault, I added too much!! This took TWO YEARS. (It really shouldn't have. 0_0) I had to mimic my old art style to keep things consistent! Anyhoo, this is pretty cool! I especially liked the neon light idea. I also hadn't properly drawn and colored my SSBU mains until this project, so.. Congrats to my past self! Back to the present, I hope you enjoy this... thing! ========[< story >]========= Hey, I made a story! (kind of?) Not sure if I should just type it here or not.. Maybe you can take a guess in the comments? I would like to see if I added enough hints for the story to be clear in the animation! ---------- Future Jam here. Looking back now, I think this is more like a 'reference' than an actual story someone can follow. It's hard to really understand what's going on without the context. Especially with the facial expressions I drew. It's hard to tell how Dark Pit feels in the song. He just looks surprised, angry, and sad. And while he is feeling those ways, it is a bit too vague to do guessing. I'll need to improve this for next time!
1/25/2023 i spent way too long trying to recolor & change most of the effects, this tail is confusing, added extra costume so that the tail doesn't look odd, edit some code.. 1/29/2023 text being edited, planning out ideas, lipsync drawn, "what do me to you?" location change, 1/31/2023 edited some coding and added another person on the right for "what you do to me", IT TOOK A BIT- added coding where facial expressions changed near the end. I didn't understand the face coding, that's why it took a bit. added the 2 facial expressions: 0-0 l-l (it's with a diff font) sad flipped lip sync drawn, 2/1/2023 thumbnail slightly changed, beginning text moved up, 2/3/2023 crown added, stars, some things changed to be more smash bros themed, thumbnail pixalates more when paused, fixing sizing, facial ideas, i am one of us ideas, "how does lip sync work?", these faces look odd on the templates.. 2/5/2023 made the main face more smaller, idea of wings, idea of appearance, arm position idea, 2/7/2023 reujusting locations of suffering, changed y axis of stars, added face for last change, ideas, full color sheet of PURPLE DARK PIT- WHOAH, 2/9/2023 changed doodle pittoo art into dark pit art, removed tail, moved faces down, 2/10/2023 making main templates art, scarf, coding confusion, added coding for i am one of us to be different, arms for other templates for no reason, removed ears, edited "what do me to you?" code, finally made back dp, 3/21/2023 *confused dark pit* ..that took way too long to draw.. 3/24/2023 trying to add Pittoos hair, HMM! I was looking at some remixes and this person also used wings the same way as I did! And it looks dark, like dark pits. what a coincidence. I JUST REALIZED I DREW IN "10" NOT 15.. aughhh.. colored Pittoo eyes in Starting to redo Pit's lineart... 6/11/2024 Made Pika color palette and colored in drawing ref. Also, wow! My art style changed a bit in 1.5 years, crazy. Discovery: Thumbnail at 'darkness is my signal' 6/15/2024 decided to try and fix the 2nd "fumetto" from being slanted, i don't know if it worked. Re-did all of Pit outlines, it seems good! Also, moved Pit body slightly to be near the lip sync. uh. maybe i shouldn't of, but changed all starting numbers into symbols, might be confusing, find out later. oookay... maybe shouldn't have stayed up to make some ""scary"" drawing, and edited code to not move. 6/16/2024 -did i delete the work i did yesterday..? wow. now i don't want to work on this. holy-moly. AHHH. okay. crisis averted. luckily i never closed my tab of what i worked on yesterday, so I just saved over it. And it's back. PHEW.. 6/17/2024 added glow with fumetto, and darked where text is Color circle things.. changed the color order. added those color examples of the characters, they look pretty funny, especially Pit. Smash ball color lighted to see better. Made the crown blue to match the color scheme of everything else. At 'darkness is my signal' made Dark Pit hold the crown instead of being suspicious. 9/2/2024 finished end card removed silly pit FJ, please, make the "what do me to you" stuff, and edit the "i'm one of us" at the ends. Thanks. 9/9/2024 edited the "i'm one of us" at the ends. You're welcome PJ. 9/20/2024 i edited the pittoo bang so it won't "clip" sharply. (the bobbing one) 10/14/2024 HOLY CARP. FINALLY. I'M DONE THE LINEART. what do me tutu you lineart, are you one of us x2 lineart, fixed pittoo's nervous arm to be attached, moved all expressions besides the last one 4 times to the left (it was touching the crown while bopping), also removed all shinies from eyes when blinking, bobbing pittoo leaves colored in (consistantsy) .... typed too much at once, oops. gonna do touch ups then copy this project to start coloring...Yep! The first two drawings have been colored, starting clean up for all those pit sprites. And the faces have an off black color, including the lipsync mouths! I think I'll stop for now though.. I did a lot. 10/18/2024 no more description space. x_x 1/28/2025 done
