This was a typographical engraving error made during the 2007 modernization. Based on the serial number (1108), it is chronologically situated right between Block C (1107, built in 1960) and Block A (1109, built in 1960). Beside the current call button on each landing, an empty blind cover still marks the location of the original 1960s call button. This lift is located in Block B, while its machine room is situated on Floor 6 (DG) in Block C. - Building & Elevator Info - The complex was constructed between 1960 and 1963 and features three elevators (one per entrance/staircase). Originally, all three 1960 Joh. Holtz installations were identical with manual swing doors. None of the elevators were fully replaced; however, Block B and Block C were modernized differently. • Modernization Differences: In 2007, this lift (Block B) was converted to fully automatic sliding doors. The lift in Block C was modernized in 2010, retaining its original manual swing doors on floors A–5, while featuring a 3-panel inner door, a dot-matrix indicator, and colorful LED wall lighting. • Speed Difference: This elevator (Block B) operates slightly faster/smoother in door cycles than the installation in Block C. • Floors & Access: Block A and B elevators serve 7 floors (up to Floor 5). Block C serves 8 floors (up to Floor 6 / DG), as it extends into a penthouse. Floor -2 (cellar) is not served directly by the main lifts. • Floor Designation: "A" stands for Ausgang (Exit, located in the basement level/souterrain), and "E" stands for Erdgeschoss (Ground Floor). • Building Layout: Each block has two entrances (a street-level entrance and an elevated entrance reachable via stairs).
