You have to survive a minute checking the cameras and preventing test subjects from escaping. This is in your best interests, as their first target will be you. Check the cameras for signs of resistance, escape, etc. and if you see any press the "contain" button. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DON'T CLICK ANYWHERE ON THE CAMERA SCREEN OR THE GAME WILL BUG OUT. To exit a camera press "back".
