Instructions

----- FOR REMIX INSTRUCTIONS & RULES, SCROLL DOWN ----- Want to quickly get to the most recent remix? Click here for the remix tree: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/530026397/remixtree On an ordinary grassy plain, an unordinary storm settles in, and reveals itself to output not rain, but BOMBS! Everyone must scramble left and right to avoid getting blown out the game by all kinds of bombs, with abilities like bouncing upon landing, moving in mid-air & even turning invisible! Potions will fall one-at-a-time too, and grant temporary helpful or harmful effects depending on their type, like pausing, speed changes, teleportation & a one-use shield. Bombs and potions will fall faster & faster over time until only one player remains & claims victory! For this project to work properly, little to no lag is very preferable. Hover over a character to see their name above them. In case the thumbnail appears while you're watching the project, click/tap it to hide it. KNOWN GLITCHES: - If two bombs hit the ground on the exact same frame, only one may make an explosion (the other will just disappear). My best attempt to fix this that doesn't break the project more only works 75% of the time due to relying on pick-random blocks. - On lower-end devices, the project has a chance of miscalculating the amount of running frames a player has, causing Edge-Cheat, Hitbox & the detectors to show up when they run, or even making the project infinitely count running frames & load forever! Double-clicking the green flag & making your device less laggy (via closing tabs) are the best ways to prevent this. ==== HOW TO REMIX ==== 1. Scroll down below these instructions & read the rules page! Don't proceed until you've done this! 2. Click the green "Remix" button at the top-right corner. (obviously) 3. Create a duplicate of the "Player0" sprite or any other player sprite. (right-click the sprite on the spritelist, then click "duplicate") 4. Create your character! Replace every costume in the duplicated sprite EXCEPT for the Hitbox, Edge-Cheat & Detectors with your character, replace all "Voice" sound clips (at the bottom of the sounds list) with your character's voice & set their name and seconds-per-run-frame in the "Hello!" block. Further instructions are in the comments inside Player0's sprite. 5. Test your project &, if you like the result, either continue to add more characters or share it! 6. Modify the title to match the current remix number and amount of players. BONUS: You're also allowed to add characters to the thumbnail & add more music tracks. ==== RULES (don't break them) ==== https://justpaste.it/BURG-RBS2RULES If you break any of these rules, it may result in your remix being declared UNOFFICIAL and becoming abandoned. You don't want that, right? To make sure this doesn't happen, remember to double-check the rules on the RULE RECAP in the Thumbnail sprite just before you share the project! ==== LIST OF BOMB TYPES ==== https://justpaste.it/BURG-RBS2-LoBandDt
