Welcome to my first ever DMC! Thank you so much for 100+ follows! People who participated in the voting chose the DMC option the most so here’s the project! DMC stands for Draw My Character which is a contest where you draw my character that I have provided and you can win prizes based on how well you draw them. Deadline: November 1st, 2022 at 5:00pm PDT Entry Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32018606/ Navigation: Click sprite or press space for next costume. You may also navigate with arrow keys on your keyboard (left and right). Current Rules (none are ordered in priority): 1. Entry must be a remix! (So I can find it better.) 2. You may NOT claim my character as your own. 3. No guilt-tripping, art shaming, being a bad sportsperson, etc.! 4. No using bases! No art stealing/tracing/recoloring! References are 100% always ok. In fact, I recommend using references, especially since you’ll have to use the character ref provided to enter. 5. You may draw the character in a different species but the drawing must be recognizable as the character. (I prefer you to keep the character as they are though.) Instructions: 1. Remix this project. 2. Finish your drawing. 3. Share the project of your drawing. (If you choose to share the project when it’s unfinished, please label it as a work in progress and then tell me when you’re done. Otherwise, I won’t count it when I judge the entries.) Note: This is optional but if you don’t want to participate or you’re too busy, you could share this project’s link with whoever you think may want to join. (If you do this though, please don’t spam.) It would be greatly appreciated. Tips: - Add shading and lighting. - Add scenery/background. - Keep the character how they are (in your own way, of course!). - Use a reference for posing (from Pinterest or other site.) - Take your time. Don’t rush. - Ask questions. (If you’re not sure about something you plan for your entry, feel free to ask about it!) - Be creative! (Create a scenario in your drawing of the character doing something!) - Draw Daisy in overalls and a short sleeved shirt underneath (solely because that’s the only thing Daisy will wear if you want to keep it canon.)
