Results: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/567706205 (holy cow it was pAIn to copy and paste all the results on all of the entries-) [DISCLAIMER] this CC is closed! I will not be accepting any further entries into the competition, but you can still enter for fun! :D Whoa, Frosty makes a CC? XD That's right! A CC after like a year! I did a CC once, and I never did one again because why? I never did really get the results out XD And I thought it needed more entries, it didn't get any, and I was like "welp, not doing that for a while." So yeah. Then I felt like making a CC, and yeah here we are! Thanks to @LeafyMakesBadGames2 for suggesting the song, I wasn't really sure which one I would use XD So I used the one she suggested. FAQ: - Can I make more than one entry? You can only make one entry when it comes to entering the competition of the CC. But if you want to make another entry just for fun, go right on ahead! Just don't make too much, it confuses me for how many actual entries there are XD But if you do make another entry for fun, pLEasE say that it's for fun in the title, and/or in the description :') Edit: 4 days and already 11 entries!? Whaat!? Thank you guys!!! <3 - R u l e s - • Don't steal each other's entries or designs, it just ruins the fun. • BE NICE. Let me repeat it: BE N I C E. I don't want you being rude on other's entries, making fun of them, bullying the other person, or ANYTHING like that. This is supposed to be fun. • Don't put yourself down either. Like, don't say "my entry sucks" or "I really want to enter, but I'm not gonna win because I'm bad at art". That's just- no. Don't say that. Be positive, yet don't brag either. • You can use any program! Remember, I won't always be judging on how it looks or how much shading you put in it, but I will also be judging in how much effort you put into it >;') I still love nice designs and good shading and lighting and stuff. So basically, I don't want to see a scribble. What I mean by that is I'm not looking for how good the art is all the time, but I don't want to see an entry that looks like you spent 2 minutes on it instead of 2 hours. Alright? /hj /srs • Feel free to use your OCs, make some new ones, or do some random characters! But if you use someone else's OCs, make sure you ask them first and if they say yes then GIVE CREDIT. If I see you haven't given credit, then I will ask you to. • A little bit of blood is okay, but please don’t add a bunch, or I will ask you to change it :') • Please don't change the song, it matches the lineart. There's a reason I made it look like this. :') • Literally anyone can enter :D Oh, and you don't have to ask to enter, in fact d o n ' t. You can t e l l me you're entering, but don't a s k. X'D • You can make some minor changes to the lineart, as long as it's still recognizable. • pLEASE CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION WHEN YOU ARE REMIXING. It's really annoying to see what /I/ wrote in YOUR description. • I think that's it? Tell me if I forgot anything :D - T i p s a n d t r i c k s - • Shade. That'll make it look more vivid for sure. You can also use lighting if you want! • Get creative! Make unique designs, a cool background, stuff like that! • Make a backstory and/or bio! That'll give more story and life to the picture :D • Don't copy others >;'0 • Try to fill in all of the pixels. It'll make the finished piece look SO much cleaner. I think this normally goes for ones that use scratch for these. *nervous laughter because I don't do this much myself* (surprisingly there isn't that many though- XD) • Animate! :'0 • Uhh I don't know! You guys think of something! • There are also examples to show you what I like to give you ideas :'D Oh, and delete the examples, they are no use to you XD But, you don't HAVE to do these. Or all of them. Like, you don't need a unique design to win. You don't need to fill in all of the pixels to win. These are just suggestions to help you! :'D Note: This lineart was completely me. It may look like I took some inspiration from some other CCs I saw, but I drew this completely by myself. Credits: Art: me Coding: me Characters: Random characters in the example that I thought of off the top of my head XD Song: Born Without A Heart - Faouzia - thanks to for suggesting the song :'D It's been so long since I've used black as a lineart colour lol I mean, I sorta caught the theme? Like I got the chorus I think. I mean, it could go either way. So technically it's a win-win for the lineart? I'm not even sure XD
