LONG INITIAL LOAD TIME ON SOME DEVICES Turbowarp loads slightly faster The controls and story are in the in-game "Tutorial" level --------------------------Comment Rules------------------------- NO ADS and if you wish to comment feedback, please don't be mean and remember this game is semi-discontinued (no new major features), but feedback is still good for future projects. I do still accept bug reports but not feature requests. -------------------------------News---------------------------------- https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32668826/ ---------------------------Level Forums--------------------------- Discontinued due to lack of interest :( Only one person ever used it (and didn't even use it right) and I don't want to keep up with this if I end up making a forum for the sequel. The one posted level has been preserved in-game. The forum search tool I was using doesn't work anymore anyways. ------------Recommended: Play on Turbowarp-------------- Copy & Paste Link to get Pausing, Dark Mode, Faster Loads, and More: https://turbowarp.org/638762075 -------------------------Game Synopsis--------------------------- After Dr. Eggman steals the time stones, he sends Classic Sonic and Friends back to when Sonic's first adventure took place! They must fight through many Badniks in a unique 3-lane runner where they must be careful of which direction they move to defeat Badniks and re-retrieve the Chaos Emeralds! -------------------------Important Notice------------------------- This game is semi-discontinued! (No major content updates) Although I was going to make levels for every Classic Sonic game, I ended up deciding to make a sequel because it would be easier to make a new project with more optimizations than try and optimize this to make room for new levels. More info on the upcoming sequel to come! (Update: 6/20/25 - The sequel may be cancelled to issue I'm having with lag that seemingly can't be bypassed. We'll see if it works out!) ----------------------------What's New!----------------------------- Latest Update: Ver. 1.2.5: 9/27/2026 -Fixed bug where the popup would remain on screen after saving data. -Fixed bug where boss rush would never show as cleared. Latest Major Update: Ver. 1.2: I Forgot to Write Down the Date :( -Revised Story/Tutorial -Yet another new movement system that was made due to bug fixing and balancing reasons. It feels a lot faster! -Way better menus. And I thought I made the last update's UI look better... -Boss Rush is available! The true final challenge. -The final levels and boss were made slightly easier and save data was made better allowing for a more enjoyable experience -Several features that were not clarified enough in game are now explained better ------------------------------Credits--------------------------------- Most Images and Sound: Sega and others who made official Sonic sprites and sound. Thanks to The Spriter's Resource for making the sprites available, and also thanks to Piskel since I'm too lazy to find an actual background remover tool. Some Images: Made by me using Scratch's vector editor. Code: All except save data by me (including some from past projects of mine). Thanks to the Scratch wiki for the save data guide. And of course, thank you to everyone who's worked on making Scratch because this would not be possible without them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi :)
