Click the green flag in the top left-hand corner to start the game. You have 20 seconds to click the fish as many times as you can. Each time you click the fish, you will get a point for your score, which is the top left-hand corner to check anytime. WARNING: Please DO NOT change the code! You can try one thing and one thing only on the code, if you are a really really really good code master or if you just want to try, even if you aren't a really really really good code master. First, click on the "See inside" button above. Here is what you can do. Now, you can try to add a randomly appearing power-up, that when clicked, adds 5 seconds of time to your time variable. (Hint: Create a new sprite, and then look at the code that makes your fish sprite appear randomly to make this happen.) The thing is, I, aala-cno, don't know how to do this. I am 8 years old. I also haven't been in CodeNinjas for long. I have longed to do it. Maybe you can persevere and do it! (Reminder: Don't forget to reset and change the code back the way you found it so someone else can try this challenging challenge. I hope you like Fish Clicker! -aala-cno
I used instructions from a Scratch 3 book. I would like to thank the person who made this book here, whether they are alive, dead, or far, far, away from us. Wherever they are, I want to give them a big thank-you for creating this book for young coders.
