An update on my last 100% pen clock, but with scrolling display. UPDATE: Added date/time, 24h mode, and more! Date settings: 0 - Only time, 1 - only date, 2 - both. Added: ability to change colors, adjust on brightness and off brightness, among other things! Contrast: subtracts the on brightness from the off brightness. Horizontal stretch: stretches the matrix horizontally. Pen size adjusts the size of the dots.
Inspired by my 56x8 LED matrix, and ivan321. Each number is rendered as a 5x7 matrix of dots, the positions of which are stored in a single list, holding all of the digits from 0 to 9. It's relatively easy to edit the "font" for each digit, just by changing the pattern of 0s and 1s in this list.
