This is a test for a smooth movement engine that uses a custom block. The 5 sliders in this project correspond with one value that you would type into the custom block. There's a preview sprite that shows you where King Nickel will end up based on those values. Click one of the three buttons on the right to watch King Nickel move to his destination. Each button shows you a different type of movement, so here's a description of each one: "Speed up" - Starts slow, then keeps getting faster "Slow down" - Starts fast, then keeps getting slower "Speed up, then slow down" - Starts slow and gets faster, but then gets slower after it reaches the halfway point
I've already seen several versions of this on Scratch, but I haven't seen one that uses the variable animation template that's in some of my other projects. Maybe one already exists and I just haven't found it yet, but I don't really know how I would search for something like that. I made everything myself, except for the two common difference formulas (which I found online and recreated with code blocks). Since this is more efficient than what I used previously, I'll probably use it in future animations. And if you want to use this engine in your own projects, remember to delete the four code segments at the top ("when flag clicked" + three "when I receive" blocks).
