-------INSTRUCTIONS------- After you start the project, a button will appear automatically saying "switch on". Just click on it and see what happens. ------AFTER SEEING THE PROJECT------ Those tiny blue dots are electrons. This project shows how electricity reaches a light bulb in a circuit. When you switch the circuit off, the connection between the wires break due to which the flow of electricity breaks, and thus the electricity is unable to reach its destination. But when you switch it on, the connection opens up again and the flow of electricity continues. Thus, the bulb lights up. Here, I have used a simple safety pin as a switch because the material of it is a conductor, meaning it allows electricity to flow through it. Similarly, the material inside the wires are made up of the same material for the electricity to pass through. But the outside of the wire is made up of materials which are insulators, meaning they do NOT allow electricity to flow through. All of our wall switches and outsides of wires are made like this so they are touchable by us, as even humans are conductors, and that's why you got that electric shock with the wire that day! -----MATERIAL----- Conductors: Silver, brass, bronze, etc. Insulators: Glass, Porcelain, Plastics, etc. -------------------------------------------------------- Thank You :)
This project was designed for my school, and 100% is done by me. It took 2 days to make. - Young Developer
