Enjoy! - - - - - - - Name - Basil Age - [will be decided later] Gender - Female Personality - Quiet and jumpy, Basil has never been one to be cruel in any way, and enjoys the time she spends with friends. She has paranoia. Backstory - Basil is a young cat who lives in Greece, and loves to read. It was mentioned that she has paranoia, but how did she gain it? Well, let me explain. Basil lived in a splendid home in Zakynthnos, high on a cliff where she'd run around and play in the gardens her family grew. The family business was farming, and it always seemed to interest her. She was also a big reader, and spent most of her days sitting in the gardens, reading a book. Her favourites were fairy tales, and the one that sparked her interest the most was Rapunzel. She was home schooled by her mother who taught her about botany and plants. Life was good, until a law passed saying that all children must be sent to school. Basil's mother worried, for she knew that Basil was sensitive and that school could cause her anxiety. Finally, it was the first day of school. Basil kissed her mother goodbye and ran off to school. When she arrived, everything was so exiting! students in the halls, new possible friends! Teachers carrying papers, she would win their respect! It was all so- new, and Basil wanted to explore every part of it. But it wasn't even a week in when Basil learned about the cruelty it had to offer. Violence at every turn, loud noises echoing in the halls, and judging glares from popular cats. Basil couldn't stand it any longer. She became anxious, every comment made about her was taken with a spoonful of offence. Rest was no longer in her dictionary. She stopped speaking, for the fear of one slip-up could bring forth a tsunami of hate. The school let her stay home, and told her to come back when she was ready. To this day, she is still recovering from it, speaking softy, the remnants of a horrible experience still flashing before her. - - - - - - - I hope you enjoy!
