Here's my entry! I couldn't resist doing this design, he's beautiful! I had a lot of fun drawing him. His bio is below. I'm sorry if I overdid the backstory, I get carried away easily. Good luck to all the other entries! - - - - - - - Name ~ King Redheart (Red for short) Age ~ 31 Gender ~ Male Personality ~ Kind and forgiving, just and firm on his beliefs. His anger and harshness, when necessary, is unbearable. Backstory (Prepare yourself) ~ From young, immature Prince Red, to headstrong, respected King Redheart, his life has had its ups and downs. Being born a prince meant he had time to run around the castle, mapping out every tower and room. He always loved adventure, which got him into mischief. He was raised by his Grandmother and Father, for his mother and grandfather had passed away when he was young. He grew up in a kingdom of revolution, where everything was a mess. Violent acts against the guard, protests, and fires. One fire, in particular, was what fate had planned. A fire was set, burning half the village. As shocked villagers ran, one young cat was left behind to the billowing smoke. Her name was Chamomile. Prince (at the time) Red noticed her, and saved her from the danger the fire had to offer. Ever since then, they played together, with Red's brother, Venice, who was studying to become the kingdom's magician. Venice was the first brother to fall madly in love with Chamomile. He did all he could to get her attention, but her sights were set on Red. He never loved her as Venice did, as his only feeling to her was appreciation. But appreciation turned into fondness, and fondness turned into love. At his fathers funeral, he announced that Chamomile would be his mate, his queen. With an abundance of joy, she agreed. Little did Prince Red know that Venice was also going to ask if Chamomile would be his. That was the day his heart shattered, stitched together with hatred for his brother. Later that night, she requested to have her name be changed, from Chamomile to Chastity, for Chamomile was the name of a helpless child, lost to the fires. He agreed to this, and she became known as Chastity. Their Unity Ceremony (basically a wedding) would be the last time King Red would ever see sweet Chamomile, transformed into vain Chastity. As she became Queen, she changed. She was now cruel and stubborn, needy and spoiled. King Redheart had finally solved the problem of revolution in the kingdom, but of course, problems would pop up once and a while. As Queen Chastity continued to rule, her wickedness rose to the point where she no longer loved King Redheart, and saw him as an obstacle. So with the help of Venice, who was now fully taught and ready to seek revenge on his backstabbing brother, she made a plan to get rid of the king for good. On the morning of King Redheart and Chastity's anniversary, she distracted him as Venice attacked with magic, bounding him to the ground to ensure that he could not escape. When he asked what was happening, Queen Chastity told him she was past him now, the king was nothing to the kingdom. Venice appeared next to her, casting the spell sending him to the Lost Lands before King Redheart could utter the words "Oh brother, of all people to betray me!". Now when the spell was cast, there was a guard around at that time. His name was Jupiter, and at the sight of his king disappearing scared him, knowing that it had to be Queen Chastity's doing. He ran, as to make sure The Queen didn't know that he had seen her do such a terrible thing. He knew the Kingdom had to know, but he needed a way to do it where there were no deaths involved, for if the villagers knew and began an uprising, she would have them killed immediately. He ran off to create a plan. As of the absence of King Redheart, Queen Chastity now had the kingdom in her grasp. To begin, she told her subjects that King Redheart had died in his sleep, and that there would be no funeral. She taxed the peasants for money to pay for grand parties that only the rich could go to. Problems were left unsolved as she partied away, enjoying the kingdom with no king. Until one fateful night. Queen Chastity was hosting another one of her parties when Jupiter set his plan into action. He lept upon the tables and, in a voice as loud as a lions, told the horrible tale of what Queen Chastity had done. Her party attendants eyes all flew over to her, as she stood there. She made a rebuttal, stating that it was all lies, and ordered the guards to take him away. Then the doors flew open, King Redheart stepping into the scene. He approached the frightened Queen, and knocked her crown off her head. He yelled at her, speaking of how she betrayed his heart, and she was never to be seen again in his castle. She fled, and with one thundering "Go!", the guests of the party ran away, flooding out of the castle. Jupiter approached him, asking about how he survived in the Lost Lands. (Cont.)
(Cont.) King Redheart told him his story. As being whisked away by the spell, he landed on top of the highest hill in the Lost Lands. He observed his new terrain, and decided it would be no good to just stand there. So with long, graceful leaps, he bounded down the hill, dandelion seeds flying everywhere. He then reached a forest, the trees different colours and sizes. suddenly, he heard a rustle in the treetops above him. Then flying down came a group of cats, armed and ready to attack. They took him to a village in the trees. Redheart looked around, amazed at the beauty of it. Young kits scurried around with baskets on their heads as older cats picked fruits from up in the trees and tossed them down for the kits to catch. The system of the village seemed perfect, until he was brought before their leader. she was tall and wore a solemn face as she explained to him that food was going scarce and that there have been breakouts of violence in her community, and that he was the answer to her prayers, that the spirits had delivered. So with his help, he saved the community and in return, was taken back to his kingdom. At the end of his story, Jupiter asked if he made good bonds with the cats, and he said yes, saying that the Leader, who's name was Wind, had fallen in love. He told Jupiter he had to go back, lead his new home.Then Jupiter asked who would be king. King Redheart gave up his crown and set it on his head, announcing that he would be the new king. To this day, Redheart lives with his commune, helping them in every way. King Jupiter is now a father, and is teaching his children to be fair and kind. And As for Chastity- or Chamomile, she lives with Venice and her kits, teaching them to love instead of hate. At the end of the day, Redheart climbs the highest hill in the Lost Lands and wishes his old kingdom a good night.
