Start off by pressing start then click "Fur color" or any customize button you see. Then click the x button when your done choosing for that button. when your all done, click next. name your pet and click the button for it to bark. ALSO I FORGOT ON THE COLLAR, THE WHITE CIRCLE AND "x" ARE DIFFERENT BUTTONS ;)
