Game Show Paradox Click the Flag to start a new set of games. Click a Door to pick it, then after Anna opens a door with a dud prize, Click it again to Stay with it or Click the other closed door to Switch. Your aim is to win the Car. If you have a long run of not winning the Car, you may think the computer is cheating and there's no Car behind any of the doors. Well, before you start the next game you can always open the 3rd door, just to see what was behind it, and you'll soon see there's no cheating going on. Hit Space or click (Play Again) to play another game in this set of games. Often referred to as the "Monty Hall problem", after the host of the original US Series of the TV Game Show, "Let's Make a Deal".
Created by @gregatku for use in Coding Classes for Kids Unlimited. Simulates a TV Game Show where the big prize is behind one of 3 doors. You get to pick one, after which the host reveals a door you didn't pick, with a dud prize. You are offered the chance to stay with your original selection or switch to the other closed door. On face value it seems like a 50-50 chance so it shouldn't matter, but things aren't always what they seem. Play lots of games to see for yourself.
