You can eat the tiny cells but if you want to eat a player (computer controlled), check their mass in the top left corner, as well as yours. The size of the other player does not matter. If their mass is larger than yours and the touch you, the game's over. Click the flag to restart. (you can also sort of go off the graph paper). When the game's over, check your mass to see how well you did. (sorry, no splitting!)
For a little of the code, I watched a Youtube video, but all eating with computers, game overs, and showing your (and the computer's) mass is by me.
