┏ ────────── -`✧´- ────────── ┓ -`✧´- THE RIVEN: a wcrp - INTEREST CHECK -`✧´- - ABOUT THE RIVEN Riven would be a small wcrp, run by me, @rosetail2012. It would focus on building relationships, making friends, and maybe even enemies. It would be a small group of loners/kittypets, who’ve gone out to start a new life in the forest. It is led by a cat named Slyvie [the cat in the thumb.], and focuses on a group called the Riven. Rather than believing in Starclan or the Dark Forest, they pray to the Earth, and believe in ghosts. Medics and Secret Keepers work closely together in full moon and no-moon rituals that take place to please Earth. Cats apart of the Riven are expected to give thanks to Earth before every meal. They believe in a peaceful society, so they have hunters rather than warriors - HOW TO JOIN If I actually start this you’ll jain by applying for a litter in the Nursery. If someone can make me some donated litters that’d be great, thanks. I’ll give you a cookie, ok? If you do make one, only realistic pelt/eye colors are allowed, and please no inappropriate names, etc. They DONT however, have to have the prefix/suffix thing, but they absolutely can if you want to!! -MECHANICS/ROLES ⋆ KIT: obvs just a young cat. At this age, you’d focus on playing around and making friends. The Medic and Secret Keeper will decide which kit will be their apprentice. You have a higher chance of getting picked if you roleplay with the medic/secret keeper, but DO NOT be pushy, whiny, etc about it or you will not get picked ⋆ APPRENTICE: this would be the time to earn Paw Points [I’ll go over those later] by training and such. ⋆ HUNTER: hunts for the Riven. Must have 5+ Paw Points by 12 moons to be eligible. ⋆ MEDIC: a healer for the Riven, helps those who are sick, injured, etc. Must have 25+ Paw Points by 12 moons, AND must have been chosen by the current medic to be eligible. ⋆ SECRET KEEPER: handles the secrets and customs passed down from generation to generation. Also guides the leader in decision making. Must have 45+ Paw Points by 12 moons, and must have been chosen by the current Secret Keeper to be eligible ⋆ LEADER: leads the clan. Must have 65+ Paw Points and be under 70 moons to be eligible, and may not have been a Medic or Secret Keeper at any point If you don’t meet the requirements, your mentor will be like “oh, they aren’t ready, blah blah blah,” and you’ll have to repeat your apprenticeship [for now anyway, I might change this] Cats will be randomly picked on a wheel to get an illness and injury. You can let a medic know and do a healing thread, and you will most likely be healed. I’ll roll and see. Leaders DO NOT have 9 lives, seeing as how the Riven doesn’t believe in Starclan, buuut they do have a higher immunity to illness/injury Kit: 50 50 chance Apprentice: 60% better, 40% worse Hunter/medic/secretkeeper: 80% better, 20% worse Leader: 90% better, 10% worse Elder: 70% better, 30% worse [cont. in nc]
[cont.] -PAW POINTS “Paw Points” are mostly earned in apprenticeship, but can also be earned as a warrior/medic/secret keeper/etc as well. They tell you what role your cat qualifies for. Paw Points can be earned by completing certain tasks, and just roleplaying in general. A roleplay that fits into the specific task AND IS LABELED AS THAT TASK will generally earn you 2 Paw Points, this applies for a cat’s apprenticeship only. You must have 3 replies from both participants. Doing one thread of something that is NOT a task, will get you 1 point. You must have 2 replies from both participants. I’ll figure out the tasks later lol - VOLUNTEER JOBS hi uhm I’m not gonna go into this a whole lot rn, I’ll have a separate project if this one does ok, but if you think you might want a job lmk and I’ll ping you if the project comes out Jobs: ⋆ illness/injury spinner: spins the wheel w/every cat’s name on it every other week to see who gains an injury/illness [1 person interested] ⋆ healing roller: rolls to see if the injury/illness heals or gets worse [I’ll probably have 2 of these eventually] [1 person interested] ⋆ Litter mod: makes sure litters comply to the rules [2 people interested] ⋆ Paw Point counter: counts threads and adds up Paw Points [I’ll probably have one for apprentices, one for warriors and medics, and one for Secret Keeper & leader][1 person interested] Please please please only apply for a job if you can ACTUALLY DO IT. If you are often busy or have a job in another roleplay, please DO NOT APPLY [side note, when I hosted a roleplay before, I did every. Single. Job. It was exhausting, and I had to stop.
