So the contest results had just come out. Crazy! I remember seeing Dumz-Dev's score on it, and I thought that was my final score and rating on it. So Yeah I woke up like 3-4 hours ago, and I was like "shoot the results are out today." and so I went to work to view, and give my personal feedback about the contest, and results. Honestly, it's what every got. I placed 6th place with an 8.21/10 Which is a B- to my gradebook. And I think the input, and advice was helpful. Now obviously there are a few things I would argue back, but like, who's gonna argue with the ones who allowed me to even place 6th? But I think that was a fun experience, I worked during classes (especially when I shouldn't have). I've stayed up for hours to finish, or scrap stuff. I've especially sacrificed a few opportunities, which sounds crazy considering this is just hobby of mine. I sacrificed my chance to be in a State-Recognized Choir, I sacrificed my chance to be 1st Chair in my section for band. I sacrificed sleep. But I also gained something from that experience. I love this hobby. I've definitely found what I'm gonna be doing for work or at least for a life long skill I can promise myself will pay off. Now should it not be as serious as I'm taking this?? yeah, it's literally a contest on Scratch. But my advice to you all, especially the one's who didn't get placed in the top 25. Just keep doing this if you really want to be recognized. I took countless days, and hours as a starter just to reach 40. It took me a full year to hit 100 followers, A YEAR. There were others who made it in less than a week. So just keep going! I'm not as a recognized user to most of the community, but I hope I can leave an impact large enough to tell you all that there's more to a hobby, than just "I want attention" Later. -Crews
