Silverfishstar could not do anything for the kits and apprentices who faced an untimely demise. Or- at least, until she thought of an idea. Welcome to Mossclan Funerals. The point of Mossclan Funerals is to commemorate those lost within the clan. And so, once every two weeks, after the ceremonies for warriors becoming apprentices & kits becoming apprentices, a funeral will be held. Silverfishstar will give warrior names to the cats that did not live to receive one. Anyone above the age of a warrior that fell will also be involved -- everyone having a vigil for them. [ One vigil as a whole -- not one individual vigil for each dead cat, to clarify. ] Flowers will be placed around the camp during this evening, each different one intending to symbolize different aspects of the life these cats lived. Per example, the Gardenia would very likely be a main flower used. Love & purity, new beginnings. Those that knew the cats are free to speak about them during the funeral. If you ask me beforehand, I can even let you make a speech during it. Kits & Apprentices receiving their warrior name are not obligated to keep it. They may very well use their kit suffix or paw suffix. Thank you for reading this project. I am not obligated to do this. Giving me a "gentle ping!" to do it will result in me not doing it that week. Ceremony notifications will NOT be sent out for this. This is not an official ceremony. You will not be regarded as a legitimate warrior if you die as a kit or apprentice, you'll simply get the suffix.
