Day Seven of OC-tober!

Instructions

Okay, I lied, I did OC-tober Day Seven! ... Inkstorm: What about me? Floppy: I drew you Inkstorm: What about MY prompt? Floppy: tired Inkstorm: sure buddy ... I was booked ALL DAY. I only came to my pc around nine pm. I told myself, "No. It's late. You will not draw." And I believed myself. I even made a project about that which I will quickly be unsharing. But the urge was strong with this one. The urge to draw. I had seen the prompt online during school: "Ghost hunters." I thought, "Like a ghost buster?" And I REALLY want to dress up my OCs, since I'm definitely NOT drawing them on the 31st (I'll be too busy Trick-Or-Treating, and no, I don't think you can be too old, at least I don't think *I* am). So lets get those costumes/cosplays out of the way: - My OCs dressed up as Ghostbusters characters! These are mostly based on the animated series designs, back in the eighties or something. Fun Fact about that show: Frank Welker, the voice of Fred Jones and Scooby Doo from, you know, Scooby Doo, voices Ray Stantz in The Real Ghostbusters. He does it really well too! - 1. Squidwing! Let's give the guy some good times after what I've been putting him through this month. I decided he would dress up as Slimer, the green, disgusting comic relief. Squid isn't really like that, but come on! A ghost? Squidwing, my depressed little boy who feels isolated and whatever? Oh well, so much for fluff. - 2. Murkypaw...his drawing is my least favorite out of the five I drew. His costume looks better when the quality is butchered, like this. The file itself...never opening that. Murkypaw is dressed as Egon Spengler, the resident "smart one" of the Ghostbusters, and apparently has inherited pretty strong genes, since there was a whole episode where the gang bust some ghosts in what I think was Egon's home town? Or at least had a ton of relatives. I'd have to rewatch the episode to be sure. Anyway, I gave Egon to Murkypaw because, from what I remember, Egon's the one with...mostly common sense. Again, I'd have to check. - 3. Inkstorm! I immediately knew she'd either be Peter Venkman or Ray Stantz, but I ended up giving her Mr. Venkman. From what I remember, Peter hit on a lot of girls in the animated show lol and had a few love interests because of it. He's the lazy, laidback member of the group who would rather sleep some more or eat or talk to girls than go out and work and hunt ghosts, despite that being the literal career he chose. Oh well. He's pretty fun. Inkstorm is constantly flirting with cats outside her clan because she thinks it's funny to see them blush, because Inkstorm is canonically attractive (Talonheart being evidence of that lol). When she got with Talonheart, however, she noticeably toned it down to zero--with other cats. With Talonheart, especially when they get kicked from Oceanclan, she turns it up to eleven, and it's probably going to be some of the funniest dialogue of my little comic. Did you know that his voice actor in the animated show voiced Garfield, you know, "I hate Mondays" and "Lasagna!", in the live action movies. Garfield's show actor, Lorenzo Music I think it was, was Peter Venkman's actor in the live action Ghostbusters movie! So, Garfield was Peter Venkman, and Peter Venkman was Garfield, on two different occasions! - 4. Emberstrike! I assigned Ray Stantz to sept-Emberstrike. Ray, in the show, is adventurous. He's always excited when the phone rings in the lobby and he and the guys get to go blast ghosts with their little proton beams. Emberstrike is similar, though not out of excitement. Probably for a need to prove himself, so he takes every risk he can to prove he can handle it. RAY IS MY FAVORITE BTW HE'S GREAT - 5. Talonheart! ...was given Winston Zeddemore. Um, okay, I feel awkward now. At the time of drawing her, I thought, "Eh, Winston's a chill guy, and Talonheart's kinda like that. And they're the last ones left anyway." ...Look up "Winston Zeddemore Ghostbusters" to see why I feel awkward. NO, WINSTON'S SKIN COLOR IS NOT THE REASON I GAVE HIM TO TALONHEART, DON"T YELL AT ME. THEY WERE LITERALLY THE LAST ONES LEFT. THEY"RE CHILL, IF I REMEMBER RIGHT. LEAVE ME ALONE X~X She turned out okay here. I think Winston was the chill one, in the show? "Yes, my dear Winston" is definitely one of my favorite episodes by the way.
