Starlight was a popular stretchy nightlight toy in 1999, but soon after release, Playtime co released the bigger body version, using orphan, Leroy Cerwall. Starlight was put in Playcare to soothe the children to sleep using music, and the stars that glowed on his torso as a nightlight. During the Hour of Joy, Starlight killed over 200 employees, catching the attention of the Prototype. 1006 approached Starlight after the hour of joy, asking/requesting an alliance, but Starlight rejected, not wanting to be in the “Teams” half the toys have been split into. Prototype understood, and told him he was always open if 1489 changed his mind. Starlight never did. Poppy tried the same thing, using Doey to approach Starlight, but he was also turned down. Starlight couldn’t really talk because the small hole where his mouth was located only produced music if he talked, so he broke his face plate, revealing a metal endo jaw underneath. Starlight also lost his arm in a brawl for survival against the doctor and the nightmare critters, and most of the stretchy mesh on his leg came off too. He stays near playcare, but also has a secret hiding spot that not many people know of, though it’s slowly being discovered and toys come to Starlight for advice or hospitality. I decided to make Starlight a Oc x Canon with Doey the Doughman! Starlight knew Doey since their first days of being who they were, and before that, Leroy Cerwall played with Martin Hallard and Kevin Barnes (Two of the three who was used to make Doey)
