This is the IFF Unit: Eroder. It can strike hard and fast before it crumbles due to how light it is. When in range, it can focus down its dual atomic destabilizer beams, slowly atomizing the target's... atoms...? It is completely robotic and is powered by its main concentration of corruption energy which is located above its waist. Corruption energy has this sort of power to erode any matter it touches, like radiation but more severe and potent, so the IFF scientists or whoever runs up there decided to use it as a weapon. It's very unstable, so if enough damage is taken by the Eroder, it explodes. (basically if ever used in a game, WHICH WILL NOT COME SOON, has the property to explode on death)
