☆ profile appearance customization ☆ i think Scratch users should have a little more control over how their profile looks when other people visit it. when a user chooses their profile accessories, like cat ears or other decorations, there could also be a simple option to choose a profile background style. this would let everyone personalize their profile a little more without making profiles overly complicated or difficult to navigate. the user could choose from a small, carefully selected group of colors, and that color would become the background of their profile for both themselves and anyone who visits their profile. this could make profiles feel much more cohesive, while also making them easier to look at for people who prefer certain color schemes. color options could include: * red * orange * yellow * green * blue * purple * pink * light mode * dark mode there could also be a few special seasonal or festive options! instead of being a solid color, these could use simple repeating patterns, kind of like digital wallpaper. for example, there could be a snowflake pattern for winter, leaves for autumn, hearts for valentine's day, stars, or other simple Scratch-style designs. ☆ keeping it simple ☆ i think there should only be a limited number of options rather than letting users upload completely custom backgrounds. that would help keep profiles readable, prevent distracting backgrounds, and make sure the feature still feels like Scratch instead of turning profiles into fully customizable webpages. users could also have a default option if they don't want to customize anything, so nobody would be required to choose a color. overall, i think this would be a small change that could make profiles feel a lot more personal and cozy. it would give users another way to express themselves while keeping Scratch's profiles clean, accessible, and recognizable. love ya!! space or click for next color example :3
