almost immediately the planetary defense force and 60k Space Marines stationed there scramble to defend forming a Hammer and Anvil formation with the battle lines of the P.D.F. and 40k reinforcing Space Marines forming the Anvil and hit and run attacks of Drop pod assaults and Terminator Teleporter assaults forming the Hammer as well as 10k Marines in reserves the battle line defends fairly easily especially considering their weapons and gear are superior to the cultists with greater range and overall damage than the crossbows and magic of the cultists while the well armored Terminators and space marines can take quite a bit of punishment during the shock assaults of the 10k space marines forming the hammer the cultists do not have enough time to properly respond before the marines are already being exfiltrated resulting in significantly higher casualties among the Cultists RG casualties: 200 Tactical and Assault marines P.D.F. casualties: 2k guardsmen cult casualties: 6k troops
