I love to draw and write. I'm a psych major in college. I'm pretty chill and always happy to chat :3 I used to be on Scratch agesss ago and only recently came back mostly to rp lol. I've got a passion for creation, for making characters and telling stories and building worlds. I have been roleplaying for about a decade, though with some large breaks thrown in there. - Kit you're applying for Turtlekit. Such a precious baby <3 .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. "What if the steps I take turn out to be mistakes?" .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. - Personality (must include at least 3 pos, 2 neutral, and 3 neg) (+) 1.) Conscientious - She works hard to make sure she does things right. She's very aware of what she does, not a pawstep out of place. Hopefully. 2.) Empathetic - She cares a lot about others, something that will only grow as time goes on. 3.) Cheerful - Always finding something worth smiling about :3 I think optimistic would also go with this. She'd be the kind of cat to really want to cheer others up and find something better to look forward to. (/) 1.) Anxious - While it might normally be a negative trait, I decided to put it here because it doesn't only affect her badly. It isn't a constant feeling, just something that likes to rear its head and remind her that things could go wrong. It keeps her on her toes, making her be on high alert. It also means she thinks things through more, perhaps to her detriment on occasion. Of course, it isn't a good thing either, because she keeps thinking "What if? What could happen?" It's an aspect that leaves her feeling uncertain at times, but it isn't debilitating. 2.) Formal - She's oddly well put-together. She takes great care in her cleanliness and posture, and even speaks in a somewhat formal manner. It's a bit odd, but whatever. (-) 1.) Cowardly - She's afraid of so many things. She's trying so hard, but fear is a powerful thing, and Turtlekit is weaker to it than she'd like to admit. This is the main trait for her theme, which I talk about in the "Ramblings and plot ideas" section. 2.) Revengeful - It's not a particularly strong part of her character, but if she or someone she cares about is wronged, she is determined to get revenge, even if it's through little inconveniences. 3.) Complacent - Things don't have to change, nope, no they don't. Turtlekit would be perfectly happy if things were always the same and she could stay right in her little bubble. She's alright if things stay how they are. Change is scary. .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. "How can somebody like me learn to say..." .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. - Future Gender + Pronouns Demigirl. She/they. Going to use she/her through kithood and (most of?) apprenticeship, but once she's a warrior it'll be she/they - Future Sexuality Bisexual - Dynamic with parents/sibs (opt) Okay I haven't really thought this one through much yet, but I just know that as a small kit she'd be hiding behind her family like a little kid clinging to their parent when meeting someone new. I feel like they'd see a way freer and more boisterous cat than the rest of her Clanmates would. Where the rest of UrchinClan would see a small coward, her family would be the ones seeing just how far she's really come. .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. "Come what may?" .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. - Ramblings and plot ideas I love trying to give my characters a theme to work through, things like trust (or the lack thereof) or trying to prove oneself (but to everyone else or to themself?) and I have a couple theme ideas for dear Turtlekit. These are: fear/bravery (Think: What does it really mean to be brave? Can someone be brave with some things and still be considered a coward in others? What would it take for a coward to become brave? (Totally not... A PHM inspired theme... nooo...)) and responsibility (Think: weight of responsibility. Which responsibilities are most important? At what point do you have to stop and say "I can't take that on" even if it means disappointing someone? What does it mean to be someone those around you rely on heavily? Responsibility w/ or w/o a title attached to it (i.e. being entrusted to take care of something/someone but not having a rank like leader or medic.)) These themes are broad on purpose, because you never know where a roleplay is gonna take you. I think for Turtlekit, I'd like to go with the fear/bravery route. She'd be a fearful little thing, a coward. A lot will put her on edge. The world is vast and full of dangers, but camp is safe. Unsheathed claws and venomous words are terrifying, but her family is safe. The night is dark and anything could be hiding in it, but the stars are bright and her Clanmates are nearby, and she has enough courage to step out and find she truly loves the night. .¸¸.♩♪♫ ♫♪♩.¸¸. Rambling unrelated to plot ideas though, oh my gosh Turtlekit is SO CUTE I wish to eat the art *grabby hands* I mean just look at her, look at that face, that is the face of a precious bean and I love her design aaaagh- like it's so simple yet not at the same time? It's got enough to not be boring, but it's still simple enough to be able to draw it again and again. Amazing character design right there. (I draw a TON and am used to going on art rambles ahah-) - Research for disabilities/disorders (if any) N/A - Did you read the ToS of the designer of this kit and do you agree to them? Yes, I did! And I do! Fun little addition(s): I feel like she'd love daisies. Look at her, she's totally a daisies kind of cat. Am I right? Fish, her beloved. I feel like her skills would lie in speed and agility rather than strength. She likely wouldn't be the best fighter, but a hunter? I could see her doing well there.
