Anger. Fury. Hate. Those feelings were slowly becoming something that fae were used to, that fae accepted and welcomed as a new part of life. At times, it was hard to be patient. At times, it was hard to wait and watch. Truffletrouble wanted to act, more than anything else. But if fae did, then xey could easily lose everything. Xey had to be patient. Fae had so much to lose if xey weren't. Tru looked up at the sky and sneered. Xey bet StarClan hadn't planned out this fate for xem. Xey glared, hatefully, up at the cowards like xey did so often now, before scoffing and glancing back at the bustling camp behind fae. So many cats, all of whom had been manipulated or scarred somehow. And yet, Tru knew some of them still worshiped the stars, the stars that took everything and gave nothing. Fae couldn't help but wonder how those Starclan-worshippers did it. How they watched innocent kits, innocent cats being taken by the cruel, distant stars and still believed that it was the all-powerful thing to worship. Tru let out a quiet snarl, digging faer unsheathed claws into the sand. Soon enough, they'd all know that StarClan did nothing. StarClan was crueler than Tru would ever be. Tru turned faer gaze back up to the sky, face becoming unreadable. They said that StarClan chose your fate, that Starclan pulled your strings. Well, Tru didn't believe any of that. Tru wouldn't be like this if StarClan did. And if StarClan had chosen Tru's fate? Well, they clearly wanted Tru's fate to drive xem insane. Maybe Tru was going insane. But fae wouldn't run from it. Instead, xey'd do what any cat should. Fae'd embrace it. -- ERP
