Hello and welcome, Songbirds!! This project will explain the hierarchy of Songbird Studios and what each level means, as well as how you can spread your wings and advance through the Nest! Hatchling A Hatchling is a brand-new member of Songbird Studios who has only recently joined the Nest. This is where everyone starts! Hatchlings are encouraged to get familiar with SBS, meet other members, explore available projects, and begin finding their place within the community. How do I advance? There is no need to rush out of the nest! Hatchlings can become Fledglings by being active in the community, The Nest and beginning to contribute to SBS. Participating in projects, auditioning, helping other members, advertising SBS, or otherwise getting involved are all great ways to spread your wings! Fledgling A Fledgling is a member who has been part of the Nest for a while and has started becoming an active contributor to the Songbird community. Fledglings have begun to find their place within SBS and are regularly participating, whether that means working on projects, helping fellow members, sharing opportunities, or supporting the growth of the Nest. How do I advance? Fledglings can become Highfliers by continuing to be active, reliable, and helpful members of the community. There isn't one specific requirement or number of projects you need to complete. Instead, we're looking for members who have demonstrated that they are an established and positive part of the Nest! Highflier A Highflier is an experienced and established member of Songbird Studios who has been part of the Nest for a significant amount of time and has consistently contributed to the community. Highfliers are familiar with how SBS works and may help newer members, participate in projects, share opportunities, and contribute to making the Nest a welcoming and active place. Reaching Highflier is a milestone, but it doesn't mean you've reached the end of your journey! There will always be new ways to contribute, new skills to develop, and new members to help! It is important that members describe what level they are at in things such as bios in comment threads (ex: My name is CJ and I am a Highflier), the very top of your projects' Instructions, etc. This will help everyone all around understand who to help out, and who to refer to for questions or anything like that. To level up, Elliott and/or CJ on THIS ACC (@Songbird-Studios) has to personally tell you that you have leveled up. No Songbird can level up themself or others. Keep soaring, Songbirds! -Elliott, CJ, and the Songbird team
