Howdy! It's been a bit since I last posted but here I have an EXCITING NEW THING WOW. I'm not going to lie to you, I came up with this silly little concept thing for fun and decided to make it into something but I probably won't make anything past this pilot regarding Cricketspot's Escapades. It may branch off into something else... /maybe/. But whatever. Big fan of the storybook sort of style. I also really like making character names and designs that are realistic to the warrior's series... But what is this about...? It honestly sort of jumbled together from a bunch of different concepts. Cricketspot's "normality" is supposed to be a little bit unsettling to show that he's nothing like the crowd, no matter how much his behaviors fit into regular standards. This kind of represents feeling othered by your friends, family, peers, and community as a whole for no understandable reason, which stems from my own inability to understand where I go wrong regarding social norms. Cricket is also a transgender allegory. That would be represented more in further chapters/lore about how he doesn't really recognize how he is as a person and instead views the world through the lenses of many different personalities by possessing them (or maladaptive daydreaming, which is one of the things that stems from my own dysphoria). He perceives himself as much different than he is and is unable to identify his own reflection. A lot of what Cricketspot's character represents is really personal to me and if this were to become an actual series I hope that other people can recognize themselves in his story.
