I decided to put OC-tober and Ink(storm)-tober in one project to make my life easier and your lives harder /jk I did make all of these a little more messier just so I could have time to finish them all, put them out, then maybe work on my comic script--WHO SAID THAT?! - 1. Murky, besides Talon, I've always felt pretty similar to. He's down to Earth, sensible (I like to think, anyway), and he even acts as an unlicensed therapist to the other four. He's a chill dude who doesn't deserve the trauma I give him...how else to beef this up? Oh! Murkypaw is the unofficial leader of the Blue Babies Trio! Inkstorm is the strategist and observer since she's creative, an out of the box thinker, and can see things others usually miss (she's also AuDHD, so if you have it, I request, BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO, to share some of your experiences so I can write her respectfully). Squidwing is the "charisma." He, unlike his neurodivergent siblings (Murky is Autistic, so if you have it, I want help writing him correctly. ty), doesn't find difficulty reading expressions and hearing tone. He's the one they use to interpret what others say during "missions" (training) and whatever. He's basically the people person. He also happens to be the smallest of them all, so he's the scout (Ink: BE MORE SPECIFIC | Squid: BUT I FORGOT | Ink: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH "THERE ARE NO OTHER DOORS OR WINDOWS?!" IS THERE WALLPAPER? | Squid: ASK THESE THINGS BEFORE I GO). Murkypaw looks at Inkstorm's ideas and thinks about how effective they'd work, realistically, as well as help refine some details. He's also in charge of encouraging his siblings. He either pep talks them or insults them with such exaggeration they can't help but think "no, I'm way better than that, I'm gonna prove it to spite him!" Works every time. - 2. Yes, Inkstorm is dabbing in 2026. Dabbing is forever. She is my competitive side. ["But you're so nice?" Sirius/@Neptune76 : No. Floppy shows no mercy.] When I get into games, I get REALLY into games. Especially with friends. Oh, and especially AGAINST friends! Just the other day, one of my classes were playing this review game, and I was TARGETING Sirius the WHOLE time. To be fair, they were targeting me too because what are friends for, but I felt bad when they got 18th. Sorry, but also not sorry </3 - 3. Ah, Emberstrike. Poor Emberstrike. I just HAVE to project one of my greatest traits onto this guy... I'm not going to elaborate because I don't want this sounding like a vent, but Emberstrike has self-worth issues (thanks a LOT, Rabbitfoot/Ember-and-Talon's-Dad) - 4. Oof, Squidwing. Guess this will be kinda venty. SO: WARNING, VENTING/RANTING INCOMING: I feel awkward nowadays when my parents and family, even a certain close loved one, when they refer to me like a girl. Said loved one knows I'm not a girl, but I have yet to tell them about my request for "pls don't use she/her anymore." I'm going to tell them soon, so it's no big deal. ANYWAY, long story short: My parents think I'm straight and cis, when I'm certainly not. I'm so confused if they're supportive or not (I keep getting mixed signals when the topic comes up!), and I'm sure if my grandmother wouldn't make it if she knew. I'm out to nearly all my friends, but I feel a bit like a liar when my family calls me a girl. A couple months ago, my Dad randomly went up to me and my sister and said "SHE/HER, and YOU'RE SHE/HER, NOT THEY/THEM OR HE/HIM" ...dude, let me eat. Before that a couple months ago, he did show signs of being supportive. I'm just really confused...Right, Squidwing. Uh, idk if you knew this, but 90% of my characters are 'phobes and Squidwing is gay as rainbows. He, working in the Dark Forest, feels like a liar to everyone because in the living world, he's straight and perfect for everyone like everyone else, when in the Dark Forest he feels right at home with his fellow gays. I'm gonna stop ranting here and move on before I run out of words. - 5. Talonheart, when she and Inkstorm get kicked out of Oceanclan for being gay and confusion ensues about how in the world Talonheart has kits because Starclan are the only ones who give Clan-Born cats kits, they meet some rouges/loners. One of which happens to be ME! Look, for like two years, Talonheart was my unofficial sona. Sure, Floppy is me, but Talon Was ACTUALLY me. "Shy" (it's more than that) and all that stuff. Floppy represented me, but better, with all my issues fixed. I can happily say I'm way more like Floppy than Talon right now :3 I feel like Talon is slightly younger-me, while Floppy is...kind of current me. I'm not there yet, but I'm closer than before. I can talk to people my age when I need a seat on the bus...but some teachers are still scary. - (I overshare a lot, don't I? Huh) - 6. The Ink-tober prompt was "Smack" so why not draw something I always love in fight scenes and I LOVE SMACK TALK >:D Inkstorm likely loves it
