So she dragged herself back to camp. This was normal now, so many had d13d. But then the hopeful looks came. The cats knew the scent of wolf, and they looked at her with hope. She was only the second to arrive back at camp alive after going to face the wolves. No, I failed. I had to run away. She walked over to the nursery, this would be a grim sight for Solace, but.... Sol had to know. She walked in, barely keeping herself from bl33ding all over kits. She walked over to Isol, she was sleeping peacefully. Dagger nudged her softly. "I'm so sorry Isol, I failed. I'm useless." dagger choked on a sob. "You must move on from me and find more friends. I'm so sorry it had to end like this. Forgive me." she dropped the bracelet next to her. She couldn't look at her eyes, she hoped she was still asleep but she knew Isol was awake. It was but a foolish hope. Next she visited the warriors den, for her father. It was cliche, in her last moments she forgives him. She almost laughed despite herself. Spotting him she padded over, her vision swirling with vibrant colors. "Father I'm so sorry" she said pathetically. "I'm sorry for all the things I said to you, I'm sorry for everything that hurt you" she apologized, her heart speeding up "I'm sorry that..... I didn't say I love you until before now, before I fought the wolf. I'm sorry you'll never know how grateful I am." "I just-" she looked at him "I just love you, and I'm sorry that.... I'm going to cause you so much pain" she handed him her birch earrings and with that she walked to the border. Maybe there were other cats she should've said goodbye to but she couldn't. There was one more and it was the most important. She followed Flynn's scent trail, stumbling, bl33ding, crying. She was tired but she had to see them. Dagger finally found them. Minding their own business. She walked over and collapsed in front of them. "Flynn I'm sorry but this is the last time I'll talk to you" she said slowly "I'm sorry I wish I was better I wish I supported you more but.... I'm so sorry-" she stopped breathing. Her time was up. Her bracelet lay in her outstretched paw. And just like that Cres and all she worked for, was gone.
