Don't look inside :) Chapter 4: Secrets of the past Steve was about to fall over the edge of the cliff and then one of the three figures ran towards him and grabbed his hand, then as Steve looked at the figures, he realized that they were his friends. After he was pulled away from the edge of the cliff, they explained that they wanted to check on him, but when he didn't show up at their meeting place, they automatically assumed he went without them. And because it was a miracle, they were right...They made it just in time! "Well, aren't we just a couple of peas in the pot?" Steve started, "For a second there I thought that you were-" "Some monster that was going to gobble you whole? yeah, I'd think so to!" One of his friends interrupted. And Steve said, "Yeah, what he said." there was a moment of silence. And then one of his friends asked, "Where you trying to find your brother on the road to school at 8:00 PM? because that was the exact time that he went missing." "How would you know that?" Steve asked, and his friend replied, "Well, I kind of encouraged him...A little...And probably forced him to tell me when he'll start so that I could meet him there...And... Kind of overslept...And woke up to find out he went without me..." After he confessed, Steve gave him a hard stare for a moment, then he said. "So, you forcibly convinced my brother to go on a quest that you KNEW would possibly end his dynasty. And then you forced him to tell you when you could come with him, and then you went to sleep through the entire process of him getting kidnapped, hidden, and possibly tortured...AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME BEFORE YOU DOZED OF? WHAT KIND OF FRIENDSHIP IS THAT?" upon hearing this, his friend felt more guilty than he did before, before he could open his mouth to apologize. Steve asked another one of his friends, "Did you happen to see anything when my brother went missing? ...Or at least...When anyone went missing?" "Well, I did ride my bike to find this figure holding up a child by the neck, I was about to call someone, but he grabbed me before I could pull out my phone, then the next thing I knew...I was unconscious!" his friend said, and then Steve asked, "But what about when you woke up?" and his friend replied, "Well...I kind of found myself in this...this prison...But I was able to get out! Although on the way out, I heard a girl's voice calling from a distance, I wanted to follow...But then I heard the doorknob I was right next to turning. I had to find shelter in order to survive, but while I was in the shelter. I saw the same figure that was holding the kid walking towards the girl voice. So, I had to take the chance to escape before I could make another friend...I never told my parents though...But I can't tell them now! They would ground me for weeks." And then Steve looked at him in disbelief, but then he said, "So, you're saying that you got a close encounter with the same figure that kidnapped my brother...And didn't get eaten?" "Yeah, I think so..." His friend replied. And then Steve asked, "Wait! What did the figure look like?" and his friend replied, "Well, it kind of looked like a human who belonged in the Black Fores I think...He was a white person with a red coat, and red pants, when he looked at me, he had some sort of...Grey mask that was stitched to his face...Wait...Do you know him?" And Steve replied, "Someone in my family said that they knew a guy named Daniel who met him...Although I've never really known Daniel because his parent's told me that he was stuck in a Nucellar Base..." *Check out my 1NANB (1 Night at Nucellar Base) Project for more info :)* "Well, if someone in your family knows him...Then maybe he was kidnapped to?" one of his friends said, but Steve protested, "What? No, he had his own room! And that means he was somewhat invited to the Nucellar Base...But enough about Daniel! I'll probably never see him again anyway!" "Don't say that he's probably closer than you think!" *No, that friend is not Daniel. :)* His friend replied, and then there was another moment of silence. Then one of the friends said, "Look, I'm sorry I caused your brother to get kidnapped." "Well...At least we got the headstart...A little bit...Anyone know where to look next?" Steve asked, and then they exchanged glances for a second, then one of them said, "I've got it! How about we all search that small city down there." Everyone else starred at him as if he lost his mind. But then Steve agreed and asked, "You know, you are my friends...And good friends are loyal...Which basically means that if I want to go somewhere, then someone has to be there for me. I would do the same thing if it were-" "OKAY FINE!" One of his friends interrupted, and then one of them asked, "So um uh...Where in the city do we look first?" then they exchanged glances at each other for a moment. Then one of them said, "Let's just slide down and find out!" Then they had a fun ride down the cliff. *Continue on the Notes and Credits*
After they reach the bottom, they found a small neighborhood of houses, and decided to go in the wooden one at the end of the road, but when they opened the door, they found only a bunch of weapons on hooks attached to the wall, and some weapons and simple wooden human models on the table, there were also upside-down triangles with triangles inside of them that fit perfectly. They were also glowing, and they were on the walls. But when they heard footsteps approaching them from upstairs and found no places to hide, they knew they were cooked. To be continued!
