Welcome to my new original song, "Carry Me Over." This track is incredibly personal to me because it is my real story. I have spent my whole life in the foster care system, and I have never had the chance to meet my mother. Growing up under those circumstances can feel unbelievably lonely at times, but this song is about the one truth that kept me going: even in my darkest and most isolated moments, God has been right beside me the whole time, carrying me through it all. Quick note before you listen: I was still feeling quite congested when I recorded these vocals, so please excuse the stuffed-up sound of my voice. I felt it was more important to share this piece of my heart and testimony with you all than to wait for my cold to clear up.
