i always admired bugs. particularly ants and bees. ants for their intense strength and work ethic to support their colony and bees for the integrity of their hives and what they contribute to the hive. she promised me i could be like an ant, or a bee, if i wished. perhaps both. she said it was my true self. it was particularly difficult for me to stay silent when faced with that.
