(Scroll down for show details) History: In 1918, Wacky Films was looking for a cartoon that people would love. Wacky Films' creator, Loco Robinson, thought of a mischievous cat going around places and causing problems. He did need help though, so he asked many companies, but finally, Universal accepted to help. A test card was made, titled "The Problematic Cat". In 1919, the first film shared to the public was made, titled "Restaurant Spills". It gained popularity in only 2 months, with more than 10,000 people viewing it. In 1923, a big problem was happening. No ideas were made, so no new shorts were coming! The company begged people to be hired, until a group of people needed a job, so they got hired. In 1930, WackyToons saved up their money, and got a Technicolor Camera! It was 27,134 dollars. In 1933, Mischief Cat won the Oscars! They put it in a locked case in their studios, and have kept it till today. In 1934, Mischief Cat was decided to be the company's mascot. In 1942, the line of Mischief Cat shorts ended, with 20 shorts being made. In 1988, WackyToons decided to make a show based on the ended line of shorts. The show was titled "Mischief Cat: Star Of The Show!" and ran until 2001. In the 90s, more shorts were being made using 3D computer animation, and Mischief Cat got his own game for the SNES, titled "Mischief Cat: Escape From Town!" made in 1994. In 2006, A new show was made, called "Mischief Cat and Friends" and ran until 2019. Today, Mischief Cat is still very popular, and he is still the mascot, and is still getting more shorts!
