Hey, guys. My Scratch account (and, by extension, my online presence under the DragonAero username) began exactly ten years ago, on October 6th, 2016. I just want to ramble about my internet history for a bit to the three people who still acknowledge my Scratch account's existence (which is understandable cuz I quit Scratch a while ago lol). I first started using Scratch in 2016 after my dad introduced it to both me and my older brother. I then spent the next seven years making small projects, promising bigger projects, and then canceling those bigger projects. This cycle of promising more than I could realistically make and then disappointing everyone after scrapping said promises is what led me to quit Scratch in 2023 in order to break the cycle. However, even despite my inability to get anything off the ground, I did meet someone here that I'm still friends with to this day! Shoutout to my man @boileyboy (now @GreenYogurtGames) for being a real one despite the fact that I was a moron in the early 2020s lol. I also have to thank Scratch for getting me interested in digital hobbies. I used to be really into gamedev, but I've strayed away from it a bit as of late; more on that later. I gotta say: thanks for reading up to this point! As a little treat, help yourself to some JibJab rigs: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1388556810/ Like I said, I eventually left Scratch in 2023 in order to switch to more advanced tools and start making stuff that I'll actually finish. Here's what I've accomplished since quitting Scratch: 2024: Published The Noise's Jam-Packed Radical Mini Mayhem! ("Mini Noise Game" for short) and Storm Shelter, two games made in Godot. Mini Noise Game is to date my most successful non-Scratch game (probably because it's a Pizza Tower fangame lol). And I also entered GMTK 2024. 2025: Published more Godot-made games, most notably Rig the Reels. I honestly really like how Rig the Reels turned out; it's the game I'd probably turn into a full Steam game if I decided to make one, though I won't make any promises on that. I also entered GMTK 2025. 2026: Published the magnum opus of my career (so far) to my YouTube channel: a JibJab-based YTPMV titled "Bush Stole the Precious Votes" (based on "Marisa Stole the Precious Thing). I followed that up with two more JibJab-based YTPMVs ("Looping the Rooms" and "Kerrychappu"). And you bet I entered GMTK 2026 as well lol. As for what I'm doing now, my main focus (as of me writing this) is learning how to write short skits and how to tell stories through Blender animations. I don't want to link anything though as I don't think that's allowed (especially since some of my newer content isn't suitable for children lol) but I still go by the same DragonAero username on other sites. (NOTICE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13: Please talk to your parents about who you follow and who you talk to online! Stay safe out there!) One more thing: this and another already-completed project coming on October 15th will be the final projects posted to my Scratch account, barring any extreme circumstances that might warrant another. I know I've posted a few projects (mostly joke ones) even after my official departure in 2023, but this time I'm drawing a firm line in the sand with this project. Scratch is meant for kids, and I'm not a kid anymore. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading and have a good day :)
