The roleplay started at the Year 0. Years reset when a new Age is entered. The cats of Aerovale have lived here for about 5000 years before Age 1. (★) AGES (★) Ages do not have a set length, rather, after a significant period or time, and the next age is voted on by every living adult in the clans, to ensure that the age is truly the end of an era. The medcine-cat-equivalents in each clan will then decide on a name for the previous Age and declare it to the clans on Starwing Arch. Usually a clan’s death, a large war, mass sickness, famine, natural disaster, or a prophecy starts a new Age. Ages are represented by a number in the project, but you can look up the Age’s name, how long it lasted, what it was defined by and the leaders at its conclusion. Negative Ages only happened in-lore, and weren’t roleplayed out. CURRENT AGE :: ( 1 ) . Current Age - 0 Years NEGATIVE AGES :: ( 0 ) . Age of Plague - 10 Years The Age of Plague was a time of great sickness in which the clans were nearly wiped out. Age of Silence - 500 Years StarClan spoke not a single prophecy during this time. They granted nine lives to leaders, but little else. Age of Eternity - 4000 Years During this time, although events that could have sparked new Ages took place, they never seemed to be voted in, making the Age last a very long time. Age of Hope - 490 Years The Age of Hope marked the time from when cats had first cats founded the ancient ArchClan on Starwing Arch, until the day the clan broke apart, spreading out across the continent.
