Here's PART of an AU scene I wrote, I'm REALLY trying to make this a good AU ToT. So, I'm giving you... THE MIDDLE OF A SCENE WITHOUT CONTEXT! IVE BEEN WRITING ANGST FOR DAYS AND I HAVENT EVEN POSTED ANYTHING BUT I HAVE A LOT OF MATERIAL! So here's a scene without context. THUMBNAIL ISNT MINE
"You don't have to figure everything out today." Silence. Ford continued. "You don't have to forgive me today." Nothing. "You don't even have to trust me today." Behind the door, Bill's eyes opened. Ford swallowed. "But I'm going to keep being here." Bill's fingers tightened. Ford looked down. "I know I damaged something." His voice grew quieter. "And I know I can't demand that you repair it for me." Bill stared at the floor. For the first time all week, his expression shifted. Barely. But it did. Ford continued. "So I'll wait." A long silence followed. Then- "...Why?" Ford blinked. Bill's voice came through the door. "Why are you still trying?" Ford didn't hesitate. "Because you're worth trying for."
